The Oxford AHSN, Patient Safety Collaborative Sepsis programme hosted a regional ‘working together’ event on 19 September at the Unipart Conference Centre, Oxford.
The primary focus was new NICE guidance and work being undertaken nationally and regionally to tackle sepsis.
There were speakers from community and hospital settings, as well as Dr Celia Ingam-Clark (NHS England), who gave a national perspecitive, and Sue Morrish (mother and sepsis campaigner) who shared the story of her son Sam.
The day was attended by just under 100 people.
