Anxiety & depression network

Service users, service providers, commissioners and researchers across the Thames Valley and Milton Keynes are working together to achieve and sustain excellent outcomes including high recovery rates for people with anxiety and depression.

The Anxiety & Depression Network aims to continuously improve psychological therapies for adults through sharing latest advances in treatment, careful data analysis and targeted research.

Project aims for 2018/19 include:

  • increasing numbers of patients who move to recovery following treatment whilst maintaining current high levels of recovery rates
  • supporting and evaluating the roll-out of innovative, integrated treatments for patients with chronic physical health problems and depression/anxiety – see results of independent evaluation published December 2018
  • better understanding of relapse rates for patients suffering with depression/anxiety and identification of patient group at higher risk of relapse. Developing more effective post-discharge support mechanisms including a bespoke therapy support app.
