Anxiety and depression network

Service users, service providers, commissioners and researchers across the Thames Valley (Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Berkshire) and Milton Keynes are working together to achieve and maintain excellent patient outcomes for people suffering with anxiety and/or depression.

The Anxiety & Depression (A&D) Network aims to continuously improve the provision of psychological therapies for adults through sharing latest advances in treatment, careful performance data and patient outcome analyses and targeted research. All Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) services across this region are active members of the A&D Network. These are:

  • Healthy Minds (Buckinghamshire)
  • Talking Therapies (Berkshire)
  • Talking Space Plus (Oxfordshire)
  • Talk for Change (Milton Keynes)

Project aims for 2019-21 include to:

  • increase numbers of patients who move to recovery following treatment whilst maintaining current high levels of recovery rates
  • support and evaluate the roll-out of innovative, integrated treatments for patients with chronic physical health problems and depression/anxiety
